Personality:
From the moment Stolas was born, his whole life's purpose had been mapped out for him. He was told what to wear, how to act, his job, and who he would marry from age five. Even though he is a royal elite in Hell's hierarchy and one might think that they have the most freedom to do as they pleased, however that is far from the reality. There was never a choice for deviation from the set path his emotionally distant father put him on. For those who don't know Stolas on a personal level, he comes off as stoic, refined, and regal. All of this is just an act he puts on after years of being told what was expected from him as a prince of Ars Goetia. His assigned duties is to be the protector of the Grimoire, to read and learn its secrets and to read the stars to foresee prophecies.
Underneath his facade, Stolas's true nature is shown to be flamboyant and often times can be dramatic. Stolas is the type of person to forget his station and how he should act around others when he gets excited about things he likes. Oftentimes showing his giddy side. But he is quick to adjust his behavior when reminded of his place. He has a great passion for books, having a vast library in his own bedroom. Books for him was his escape from his reality, a way to go places beyond the palace walls. But be careful or he will talk your ear off on a subject that interests him. Stolas is a huge nerd. Growing up pretty much isolated from anyone besides his staff, Stolas sometimes lacks the emotional capacity to pick up on other's feelings. At times, this lack of understanding makes Stolas come off as an airhead or even selfish. However, he is not completely oblivious to the feelings of others. When he does make the connections, Stolas is capable of feeling remorse or guilt on how he has acted and will make an effort to improve. Currently, he is getting a bitter dose on how privileged his life had been, being forced to live as a commoner.
Stolas doesn't usually mingle with hellborn outside of his social class unless its for his duties with the grimoire. Blitzø is a huge part of his life, being the one person, he believes he can put his hair down around. Despite sometimes his over eager,and horny, behavior towards Blitzø, Stolas harbors deep feelings towards him. Being trapped in a loveless marriage, which is not only mentally abusive and also probably physical seeing how willing Stella was to strike Stolas, he craves for a whirlwind romance. With no good example of what true love looks like, his only source being his telenovelas and trashy romance novels. Stolas feels caged by the heavy chains of duty. To his own detriment, he blindly follows his role as prince, even producing a precautionary heir to Ars Goetia with a woman he bears no feelings for. You can see himself medicating with pills from Belphegor-branded "Happy Pills", the sin of Sloth. Or binge drinking alcohol.
Above anything else, Stolas would move the sun and stars for his beloved daughter Octavia. He tries his best to give her love and attention he never had growing up. However, he is not perfect. With the messy divorce looming over his head, promises he made her slipped his mind, like seeing the meteor shower. The biggest promise he broke was never leaving her. With his sacrifice to save Blitzø from execution, he has had his status and powers stripped from him for 100 years, meaning that his daughter was also ripped away from him to live with her cruel mother and uncle. Losing her has been a devastating blow.

In the current canon point, Stolas has had all his magic and abilities stripped from him. He does still have his immortality. Coming in with only the clothes on his back.

Sticking Stolas as a paladin since their virtues are that of justice. While not known to be a fighter, he will do anything to protect the ones he loves. Also the aspect of exploration and research is something that appeals to him. Especially plant life since he once owned a vast garden himself.
